Our Police are simply the best, aren't they?? They always look for ways to make someone's day. And in this case, an ailing kid's wish came true. This 8-year-old boy took charge as the Commissioner of Hyderabad for a day, all thanks to our noble Police Commissioner!
Madipalli Roop Aurouna, who is suffering from Thalassemina requires blood transfusion for every 20-25 days. He is under heavy medication and has to be eternally alert to make sure his health does not worsen. Recently the child took charge as the Hyderabad Police Commissioner for a day when Roop’s parents, Ranjitha and Vikram expressed their child’s wish to Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organisation that fulfils the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions.
So what work did he do? The little boy signed and approved pending leaves of officials in the department, with the confidence of a CoP!
Look at him talk about managing the city here!
