ODI Format:
- Amarnath Brothers:
Mohinder Amarnath and Surinder Amarnath
The Amarnath brothers played for India together in a total of two matches in the ODI format. They both scored one half century in each games. Besides this, Mohinder Amarnath played for a long time and became the corner stone for the Indian team with a career span of over 20 years. While Surinder Amarnath played just 10 Tests and 3 ODIs.
- Pathan Brothers:
Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan

TEST Format:
- Ali Brothers:
Wazir Ali and Nazir Ali
The Ali brothers made their debut in India Test match, against England in 1932. While Wazir was a top-order batsman and Nazir was a fast bowler. Later they migrated to Pakistan and Nazir played a few matches there and became a test selector.
- Apte Brothers:
Madhav Apte and Arvind Apte
They both were batsmen as Madhav played seven tests for India and Arvind played only one test match from 1952 to 1953. Later Madhav elected as President of Cricket Club in India in 1989.
- Ladha Brothers:
Amar Singh Ladha and Ladha Ramji
Amar singh was an Indian cricketer. A right-arm fast-medium bowler and lower-order batsman. He played sevent test matches for India before world war II. He took 28 wickets in these seven matches. Where, Ladha Ramji who is one of the fastest bowlers in India, played his only one test match in 1933 against England.
- Gupte Brothers:
Subhash Gupte and Baloo Gupte
Subhash Gupte was one of the finest India’s leg-spinners who played between 1951 and 1962. While younger brother Baloo Gupte who is also a leg spinner played just 3 Test matches for India.
- Singh Brothers:
A.G. Kripal Singh and A.G. Milkha Singh
Both the brothers were top-order batsmen. While Kripal singh played 14 Test matches for India where as Milkha just played four test matches. Unfortunately both weren’t able to make a significant mark in the International area.
- Nayudu Brothers:
C.K. Nayudu and C. S. Nayudu
Cottari Kanakaiya Nayudu was the first captain of the Indian Cricket team in Test matches. He became first ever cricketer to win the Padma Bhushan. CK played (right handed batsman) his first test match in 1932 as captain against England in 1932. In total he played seven test matches where as his younger brother CS played 11 Test matches between 1934 and 1952.
