"Despacito" doesn't need any introduction. The song, performed by Luis Fonsi featuring Daddy Yankee, crossed 3 billion views - faster than any video in YouTube’s history. The song’s appeal extended to places where Spanish isn’t the first or even second language. And when it reached India, it got an entirely refreshing makeover.
Praniti, a Chennai-based singer, is a child prodigy who came up with an innovative mashup idea of singing Despacito in multi-languages (India) that also includes the Spanish and English version. A student of AR. Rahman's KM College of Music & Technology, Praniti's Telugu version is just bang on! She sings the famous "Cinema Chupista Maava" song from Race Gurram and the best part is that the tune doesn't move off the track. Check out the video that also includes famous songs from Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada as well.
