Did You Know That AirAsia's "Kabali" Plane Was Decked Up Right Here In Hyderabad?!

AirAsia India, the official airline partner for Rajinikanth-starrer Kabali, has unveiled its new re-branded aircraft featuring a livery dedicated to the upcoming movie and Rajni-fans. It is a moment of pride for GMR Aero Technic Ltd. (GAT), to be a part of history in the making for Indian Cinema. AirAsia chose GMR Aero Technic Ltd. for livery painting of their A320 Aircraft depicting Rajanikanth -the superstar and heartthrob of millions of fans.

Highly skilled team of professionals at GMR Aero Technic a subsidiary of GMR Hyderabad International Airport worked double shift for 7 days painting determined to match up the charm and charisma of the Superstar –Rajanikanth. Heavy maintenance work has also been performed for the aircraft. The customized Kabali AirAsia A320 Aircraft took off the hangar of GMR Aero Technic Ltd.

Based on the engineering drawings shared by AirAsia, the finery painting of Kabali has been done on the central fuselage section on both the sides of the aircraft. Apart from the finery painting for the promotion of the movie, GMR Aero Technic has also performed heavy maintenance work for the aircraft.

The painting concentrates on the central fuselage section on both sides of the A 320. GAT had earlier done a similar job belonging to the same airline, dedicated to legendary industrialist J.R.D. Tata.

The aircraft will be flying across the AirAsiaIndia network across several destinations such as Bengaluru, New Delhi, Goa, Pune, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Guwahati, Imphal, Visakhapatnam and Kochi.
