The life story of Indian Women’s cricket team captain, Mithali Raj will now be told through a biopic in Bollywood. Viocom18 motion picture is going to make this film. On this account she expressed happiness as it inspires young girls to explore a sports career. The cast is yet to be announced for this movie.

As we already know, Mithali - as a cricketer and the captain of Indian Women’s Cricket team - set numerous records. The 34-year-old is the highest run sorer in women’s international cricket and the only woman cricketer to surpass the 6,000 run mark in ODIs. She is also the first player to score 7 consecutive 50s in ODIs and also the first Indian to have led the national team to an ICC ODI World Cup final twice both in 2005 and 2007. She was honoured with Arjuna award and also Padma Shri in 2015. Also, she has been listed in World's 100 most influential and innovative women (2017) by the BBC.
