Hyderabad-based Purnachander Nagula is truly living every nerd's dream life today — a cushy occupation, awesome city life and a happening vocation to boot.
Growing up in the remote siricilla village, he was a witness to the hardships his father underwent to provide a decent education for him. His father worked as an accountant and he hoped to educate Purnachander, but due to lack of simple facilities like library, books and able guidance, they struggled at every stage. Despite facing all these hurdles, he is now employed as a senior software consultant.
The people from Purnachander's Village did not even have a library to begin with. They had to depend on the mobile library which came in once every six months. It is this struggle that motivated Purna to begin a library that catered to students who are preparing for various competitive exams.
His library began for the benefit of people who are unable to afford books, internet and information regarding jobs, education. This library began in the memory of his father’s name Rama Swamy and started coaching poor students free through digital classes and digital library. This library currently has more than 2000 books.
The library began on a very small scale with just a few books to guide for Banking, RRB, TSPC, UPSC, IIT and EAMCET. Over the years, it has grown leaps and bounds into a complete computerized classroom, with several current innovations such as two-way video correspondence, video tutorials, web conference, and various other facilities for online learning and training. The main aim of the digital classroom is to bring global exposure to the local job aspirants, using technology and the power of the Internet.
