I still remember a small conversation which happened in middle of a serious discussion with my manager. Here it goes, Manager: Do you know who is Sachin Tendulkar’s coach? Me: Yes, it’s Ramakant Achrekar! Manager: Do you think he will play better cricket than Sachin? Me: Maybe no! Manager: But do you think did he played a vital role in Sachin’s cricketing career? Me: Of course, it’s clearly noticeable from the way which Sachin treats him. Manager: Likewise; Technically, I may not be as good as you. The way you are working now, we have done the same in our initial stage of career. Now, our focus is on people skills. We are here to manage and get things done right. So, stop complaining and give your best! We never know who will become our role model one day! A teacher, scientist. director, manager or whom so ever it may be; Their character, humbleness and nature of always giving the best will be our inspiration! One such great personality is Ramakant Achrekar, Sachin Tendulkar's life guru!
