The Ananda Buddha Vihara was inaugurated by 14th Dalai Lama named Tenzin Gyatso in 2002. The museum hall offers a diverse place to gain knowledge about Buddhism and the teachings of Lord Buddha. By paying Rs 365 a year you will receive programs and have access to their library. It also has a lotus pool and an artificial water fall which can be something kids enjoy as well.
Ananda Buddha Vihara Trust organizes yearly the celebrations of Buddha Jayanti and lectures on full moon day every month organized. b is a committee which is preserving and spreading Buddhist tradition and culture. A group of resident monks are always available for monastic training and yoga training here. This trust was first setup at Tukaramgate in 1988 and now it functions from 3 acres land in Mahendra Hill
