Inexplicable Things About 'Siva - The Destroyer' That Are Beyond The Realm Of Science!

We all know that Lord Siva is one of the most powerful gods of Hinduism and the Destroyer in Hindu Trinity. We are not going to talk about his powers but some of the unexplained facts which are beyond science...

1) The name Siva has two distinct meanings... Siva literally mean "nothing" or "vacuum"... If the word is divided by syllables, Si means whole and pure; Va means embodiment... His name depicts both nothing and everything, just like space... Hindus from ages believe that he is the manifestation of vast space or cosmos around us... Modern day scientists determined that this whole universe came from nothing and will go back into nothing... Better be a coincidence with his name...

2) There is a 2 metre tall Nataraja idol at Large Hadron Collider Lab (CERN) in Switzerland, who are recreating the Big Bang which created the universe... When asked about why the idol is present at the world's most advanced Lab, Physicist Fritjof Capra explained, "Hundreds of years ago, Indian artists created visual images of dancing Shivas in a beautiful series of bronzes. In our time, physicists have used the most advanced technology to portray the patterns of the cosmic dance. The metaphor of the cosmic dance thus unifies ancient mythology, religious art and modern physics. Shiva’s dance is the dance of subatomic matter, the basis of all existence and of all natural phenomena."

3) Do you know that all 5 Shiva Temples which resembles 5 elements of life are on the same longitude? Shiva is worshipped as the master of these 5 elements (Sky, Air, Earth, Water, Fire) and has 5 temples dedicated to each avatar.

Earth - Ekambareswar, Kanchi Water - Jambukeswar, Tiruvanaikaval Fire - Arunachaleswar, Tiruvannamalai Air - Srikalahastheeswar, Srikalahasthi Sky - Nataraja, Chidambaram

All these 5 temples were constructed on 79 degrees East longitude (with minor corrections). Also, these 5 temples are joined in North and South with two jyotirlingas, Kedarnath and Rameswaram which also lie on the same longitude.

4) Have you ever been to Kailasa Temple in Ellora Caves, Maharashtra..? This temple is so marvellous and mysterious at the same time that world renown geologists and archaeologists were ashtonished by the way it was built. It was excavated around 5th century from a single rock vertically downward. That means, workers had to remove unnecessary rock around to make the shape of temple, that too starting from Gopuram going downwards. Many have doubts that this temple might be built using alien technology. For more info on this temple:

5) Let's talk about something more mysterious... Mount Kangrinboqe... We call it Mount Kailash... Many people believe that it's the heavenly abode of Lord Siva on earth... With an elevation of 6400 metres, this should be a piece of cake for mountaineers who climbed Mt. Everest, which is 8850 metres... But Mt. Kailash is unconquered till date... Though Chinese government gave permission for many expedition groups to scale this mountain, people couldn't do it even with advanced equipment... Many people who attempted to scale got emotional when they started climbing and couldn't continue with their heavy hearts... People circumambulate this mountain and find inner peace irrespective of religion or faith...

6) The structure of Sivalinga is compared to the structure of an Atom by world famous physicist Neils Bohr, who is one of the founding fathers of Quantum Physics... He once said, "I go to Vedas to ask questions. Quantum Physics will not look ridiculous to people who read Vedas..."

7) Sivalinga is a storehouse of energy and is the major design inspiration for modern day Nuclear Reactors... The shape of the reactors is same as Sivalinga (almost ellipsoid)... There are water circulations to pacify the reactor and the used water is directed away from the reactor...
