We often throw away some old things present in our home assuming that they are not useful anymore. But there are certain people who collect these things and in specific and turn them into pure art. Turning waste and unused things into beautiful art is purely a talent. And not just things, these artists have even turned an entire slum area into an artistic place that is almost unbelievable when you see the place before and after.
M S Maktha, an area in Necklace Road, Hyderabad is a place in particular that used to look very unhygienic and dirty. Due to the excess public urination in this area, it used to be almost impossible to even walk on these roads. Since the past five years, in various places across India, “Street India” association has been changing many such areas into artful locations. They do it by first by photoshopping the areas of how they would look after the art transformation, and show it to the government and then take permission from them and start the actual work.
Not just people, when the entire area is hygienic, only then it is safe to live over there. Any place will start to look good only when people realize the value of it and start caring for it. And they will do it when they see some good art all around them. At first, the people over there thought what are these people doing to our walls, why are they painting them all over. But when the place started to look clean, they realized the value of it. And not just them, KTR has visited the place and took some nice selfies and appreciated their efforts.
