We Hyderabadis are the greatest foodies ever; we love to have food-orgasam all day long. And no day is complete without having a bite of one “sweet” at least. They are several places in city that serve’s the best mithai but these are a must try for all of us.
Here are famous places from Hyderabad that you definitely need to try:
1. Hameedi Sweets: More than 100 year old sweet shop in city, this is the most favorite joint for NIZAMS during that time. Jauzi is the trade mark sweet of Hameedi’s located in Mozzam Jahi Market.
2. Agra sweet shop: The “Gulab Jamuns” here are just beyond perfect here, let it be the size or taste nothings beats it. Located at Gulzar House near Charminar.
3. Sree Sai Satyanarayana bhandar: This renowned sweet palace in Siddamber bazaar is famous for its variety of sweets which is going to leave you with a watery mouth craving for more.
4. Sri Krishna Sweets: Ghee Mysore Pak will never be the same again after you’ve tried here, Outlets are available in Ameerpet and Secunderabad.
5. Dadus: Another place for authentic delicacies, the kesar peda comes highly recommended from here.
6. Almond House: This is another perfect place to try for the “Gulab Jamuns” and the badam sticks are also way too delicious. Located in the heart of city Himayathangar there are also several other outlets.
7. Pulla Reddy: The most prominent sweet shop in both the Telugu speaking states. The putha rekulu here are my personal favorite.
8. Pramada's Sweets lower tank bund: The most underrated eatery in the city, it is a must try for all the desert lovers and you’ll not disappoint. “Garjalu” sweet is recommended.
9. Vellanki: The “Talikulu” is the sweet which is rarely available in the city and this is the place where it is available at its best.
10. Balaji: The one sweet shop which is available in the every by lane in city :p
11. Emerald Mithai The best place to try the Malai Rasgulla and the Cham Cham. One bite and you'll be a fan of this shop.
